VEGETARIAN CHIENESE SAMOSA

I just came from India three months before and as all Indians I miss samosas a lot so do my hubby so I decided to try my hands but I wanted to different and tried Chinese samosa and believe me it came out really good then I used this recipe for my daughter's birthday and it was hit many people asked its recipe and thought to share with everybody.

Ingredients

For Chow:

Thin noodles                                      : 1 pack(boiled but not overcooked)
Add little bit of salt and oil while boiling the noodles
Onion (red or green)                         :  just one( red) or two or three strands (green)
                                                              cut in long threads alike
Cabbage                                             : 1lb (cut in long thin shape as much as thin  possible)
Carrots                                               :  1/2 lb (cut in thin threads alike)
Beans                                                 :  1/2 lb (cut in 1inch sized long pieces)
Green bellpepper                               :  just one(cut in 1 inch square size)
Red bell pepper                                   :  just one(same as green bell pepper)
Soya sauce                                          : 1 tea spoon
Vinegar                                                 : 1 tea spoon
Chili sauce                                          : 1 tea spoon
Ajinomotto                                           : just a pinch
Black pepper powder                          : as per taste
Salt                                                       : as per taste
Oil                                                         : 2 table spoon

For Samosa Wrap

Maida(All purpose flour)                     :2 lb
Oil                                                         : 3 table spoon
water hot                                               :2 cups
Curd                                                      : 2 table spoon
Salt                                                        : as per taste

PREPARATION

For Dough

mix all ingredients make the dough.it should be soft dough.we do not add ajwaain in Chinese samosa as it does no go well with taste.keep it in little hot place for a while.

Tip of the day

Add curd whenever you use maida for frying purpose whether it is samosa, mathri, papdi or anything made by maida as curd neutralized the taste of maida and gives better taste and results.

For Chow

first of all heat the pan on the high heat .Put oil in the pan and this oil should be very hot cause when we add veggies into it they will not spoil their texture and won't stick to pan. first of all add onion green or red as per your choice and saute it for little bit and add others cut veggies. Now add noodles  and other ingredients and mix them with spatula used for noodle cause it does not breaks the noodles or you can use he madhani's (used to make lassi) opposite side . I love to add Indian tadka means I always add coriander powder, chat masala or red chili  if you like spicy, believe me this really taste good you can try this while making noddles too.make these noodles little more spicy and salty.

Now when our dough and filling are ready now make the sheets to fill the noodles ,you can make any shape and fill noddles in it but I like to make the original shape of samosa but I make them little bigger and cut them in two pieces while serving cause it looks good and fry them in medium heat so samosas can be real crispy.once it is done you can serve them with green chutney or sauce whatever you like.
you can freeze these samosas but for freezing  they should be half done not fully fried means fry them for a while and take them out and freeze them but when I re fry  i put samosa in oil when oil is not hot.By the time oil gets hot samosas also get hot and crispier from inside.

So start making them and save them for any rainy day........
