Few days before I had a satyanarayan Katha, so I thought of making some sweet for this day,one of my friend used to say that it is very difficult to make kaju barfi. so I thought why I should not try this only with little effort I made these kaju roll believe me this was a showstopper of that day.Now I find easy to make this mithai with little ingredients,so wants to share this recipe with all of you.
INGREDIENTS
Make sugar syrup by adding just one cup of water in it and boil it till it becomes ek taar chashni.
Grind the kaju in fine powder .it is better if you grind the kaju in coffee grinder.
Once the sugar syrup is ready take a thick bottom pan and add sugar syrup and kaju powder
Now keep toasting and stirring this paste till it leaves the sides and become little transparent.
Now separate the dough in three equal parts
Leave the one part as is and add green color in one part and orange in other part
Now we have three dough of three different colors original white, orange and green.
Roll each dough like chapati one by one.
Now keep each chapati on each other one by one like white, green then orange.
Now roll them lengthwise to make a log.
Now cut the log into small pieces.
Your kajuroll is ready to dig in
