MATHURA KE PADDE

My seven year son is born with sweet tooth.he can live on sweets. his favorite one is Mathura ke padde. which is very simple to make and delicious in taste. It just need patients, so here I am to share the simplest and easiest  recipe which I have been using since many years.

INGREDIENTS
  • Khoya                                         1 Lb
  • Sugar                                          1Lb
  • Cardamon Powder                     1 teaspoon
  1. Keep the khoya in room temperature to soften it.
  2. Transfer the khoya and sager in thick bottom pan.
  3. Keep stir the mixture till it becomes golden brown separates from the sides of the pan.
  4. Add cardamon power in this golden brown mixture.
  5. Wait till the mixture is properly cool.
  6. Once this mixture is cooled down, take a small portion and bind it in the shape of ball.
( you can prepare the khoya at home but you need patience.keep the milk in a low heat till it becomes semi solid )

TIP:  If you are making  khoya at home then keep the spatula in milk .so milk will not boil over from the pan.
